Zelensky meets UNITED24 ambassadors to thank for support on eve of platform's anniversary

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held an online meeting with the United24 fundraising platform ambassadors.
This is reported by Rubryka, referring to the Office of the President.
"I'm really looking forward to talking to you on the eve of United24's second anniversary. I invite you all to join the summit and visit Ukraine again. This is very important for us. We met last year, but it is even more important this year, and you understand why," Zelensky said.
The summit will be held in Kyiv, Ukraine, and aims to gather all ambassadors and key partners.
The meeting was attended by philosopher, publicist, Stanford University professor Francis Fukuyama, NASA astronaut Scott Kelly, Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, actors Misha Collins, Mark Hamill, Liev Schreiber, Catherine Vinnik, and Ivanna Sakhno, historian Timothy Snyder, country singer Brad Paisley, Imagine Dragons' Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee and Mack Reynolds.

Zelensky thanked world celebrities for their support of Ukraine and Ukrainians and for helping with fundraising during this difficult time. Each of them is responsible for their own direction: protection of the Ukrainian sky, reconnaissance drones, demining, medical assistance, reconstruction of residential buildings and educational institutions, and arrangement of school shelters.
"I am happy to be a part of your team. Thank you for all this time, all this way to victory. We are together. I am so grateful to each and every one of you for your donations, your support policies, and your voices that are heard around the world. This is very important," said the Head of State and added that he was grateful, in particular, to the founder of World Central Kitchen, José Andrés. The benefactor could not attend the meeting due to the tragedy that befell his team. Zelensky expressed his condolences to Andrés and the employees of his organization in connection with the death of colleagues.
Plans for further cooperation were discussed during the meeting. They focused on strengthening support for Ukraine, particularly among Americans.

Reference. The United24 fundraising platform became operational on May 5, 2022, at the initiative of Volodymyr Zelensky. Among the 24 ambassadors of the project are actors, directors, entrepreneurs, musicians, scientists, athletes and even an astronaut. Thanks to their support and the efforts of donors from 110 countries, more than $625 million were accumulated during this time to support Ukraine. These funds were used to purchase drones of various types, maritime drones, anti-drone systems, demining equipment, incubators for premature babies, ambulances, and the reconstruction of 26 bridges, apartment buildings, schools, and the construction of shelters for children.
