On Wednesday night, groups of Russian drones simultaneously entered Ukraine's capital Kyiv from several directions.

The Kyiv city military administration reported on the Telegram messaging app that air defense forces detected and destroyed all aerial targets.

"Another mass attack by the enemy with strike drones," said Serhii Popko, the head of the Kyiv city military administration. "According to initial reports, the enemy used the Shahed drones. Groups of drones entered Kyiv from several directions at the same time. However, all aerial targets — more than 10 UAVs — were detected and downed in a timely manner by the forces and means of air defense."

According to the current information, falling debris was recorded in the Solomianskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts of Kyiv. There is damage to non-residential premises and road surfaces.

"No serious destruction and fires. There is no information about the victims," Popko said, noting that the data is being clarified.

As reported, this night in several districts of Kyiv, fragments of drones with which the Russian forces tried to attack the capital were recorded.

Ukraine's capital Kyiv is regularly attacked by Iranian-made Shahed drones and Russian missiles. The most recent Russian attack happened on July 13, leading to civilian victims.
