Ukrainian soldiers liberate Staromayorske in Donetsk region

In the Donetsk region, Ukrainian defenders liberated the village of Staromayorske from the Russian invaders.
President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that on Telegram.
"Our South!
Our boys!
Glory to Ukraine!" wrote the head of state.
Fighters of the 35th marine brigade and the Arey territorial defense battalion participated in the operation.
"The 35th brigade, as well as the Arey ground defense battalion, fulfilled their mission and liberated the village of Staromayorske," the military said in the video.
This settlement is the quickest route to the Sea of Azov. It was the sharpest Ukrainian "blade" to slice through the occupiers' so–called "land corridor," according to Melitopol's mayor Fedorov.

Ukraine launched a major offensive on the southern front. The counteroffensive against Russian troops is gaining momentum.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces spokesman, Andrii Kovalev, reported that the soldiers of Ukraine's armed forces had success in the Staromayorske area on the southern front.
Ukrainian defenders managed to advance 500 meters along the front line.
In turn, the National Guardsmen succeeded in the offensive in the Melitopol direction. Currently, they are now ensconced on the boundaries they achieved.
Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar said that the Russians are accumulating troops on all fronts, trying with all their might to stop the offensive of Ukraine's armed forces.
