Given the insurrection of the Wagner Private Military Company's mercenaries against the Russian state, the weakness of the Russian Federation has become glaringly apparent. In addition, Putin has long masked his weakness with propaganda, but it cannot be denied anymore.

President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on Telegram, reacting to the events in Russia.

"Everyone who chooses the path of evil destroys himself," the head of state emphasized.

Zelensky also noted that Putin sends convoys of soldiers to destroy the lives of another country. However, he cannot stop them from running away and betraying when life resists.

"He terrorizes with rockets, and when they are shot down, he humiliates himself so that he will be given Shahed drones," the President noted.

Zelensky also emphasized that the Russian Federation "disdains people and throws hundreds of thousands into the war – to eventually barricade itself in the Moscow region from those whom it has armed."

"For a long time, Russia masked its weakness and the stupidity of its rule with propaganda. And now there is so much chaos that you cannot hide it with any lies. And all this is one person who is trying to scare others with 1917 year again and again, although he is not able to lead to anything else.

The weakness of the Russian Federation is obvious. Full-scale weakness. And the longer Russia keeps its troops and mercenaries on our land, the more chaos, pain, and problems it will have for itself later. This is also obvious. Ukraine can protect Europe from the spread of Russian evil and chaos," the head of state emphasized.

The President called on Ukrainians to maintain resistance, unity, and strength.

He also added that all Ukrainian commanders and soldiers know what to do.

Moreover, the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podoliak, commenting on the mutiny of the Wagner PMC led by Yevgeny Prigozhyn, said that everything is just beginning in Russia.

In addition, ISW believes that the fact that the Wagner command group under the leadership of Yevgeny Prigozhin attacked the Russian military leadership of the Russian Federation in Rostov-on-Don will most likely significantly impact the war in Ukraine, which Russia started.

Ukrainian intelligence also commented on the events in Russia and Prigozhin's rebellion against Shoigu [Russia's defense minister – ed.]. Yusov noted that the confrontation in the country is a sign of the collapse of the ruling regime in Russia.

For reference:

On the evening of June 23, Prigozhin [leader of the Wagner PMC – ed.] said that the Russian army attacked the rear positions of the Wagner Group, resulting in "a huge number of soldiers" dying. In response, he announced a "campaign" to Rostov-on-Don to "deal with lawlessness in the army" and Shoigu.

At 7 a.m., Prigozhin announced that in Rostov, some soldiers of the Russian Guard and the police had allegedly gone over to his side. Clashes between parties take place.

After that, a video appeared showing the Wagner mercenaries entering the headquarters building of the Southern Military District. It also indicates Prigozhyn demanding that an official military hand over Gerasimov [the head of Russian General Staff – ed.] and Shoigu. Otherwise, "Wagner" will block Rostov and allegedly go to Moscow.

Because of Prigozhin's rebellion, the Russian dictator Putin addressed the people and spoke about the civil war and rebellion.

In his turn, the head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin said that none of his fighters would surrender at the request of the president of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.

The route they are traveling on has been blocked. The Russian army uses aviation, but the Wagner mercenries have already shot down at least 3 Russian helicopters.
