Ukrainian air defense downs 12 Russian UAVs and two Ka-52 attack helicopters over past day

Ukraine's air defense destroyed two Ka-52 attack helicopters and 12 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Russian invaders last day.
The Air Force press service made the relevant statement.
"During the past day of June 17 and the beginning of the current day of June 18, 2023, the Air Force's anti-aircraft defense destroyed:
- two enemy Ka-52 attack helicopters,
- four Iranian strike UAVs "Shahed-136/131",
- one Russian-made "Lancet"
During the past and current day, the air defense also destroyed:
- seven Russian-made "Orlan-10" reconnaissance drones,
- "Orlan-30",
- "Zala",
- "Supercam".
Ukraine's aviation carried out dozens of sorties for fire damage and fighter cover. More than 20 airstrikes were conducted on enemy positions, equipment, rears, and accumulation of manpower.
Ukrainian troops also destroyed two anti-aircraft missile systems.
Units of missile troops and artillery during the past day struck:
- Three control points,
- Two areas of concentration of manpower,
- Five ammunition depots,
- Three artillery units in firing positions.
There were 26 combat clashes between the Ukrainian military and the occupiers.
Ukrainian troops have already destroyed more than 300 military helicopters. The Russian Ka-52 "Alligator," shot down on June 12, became the 301st downed aircraft.
