Russian advance near Avdiivka slows down – UK intelligence

Russian offensive has slowed down in recent weeks near Avdiivka due to significant losses, the UK intelligence reports.
Russian troops continue to focus on operations in the Donetsk region, achieving little success.
Enemy forces tried to expand the conflict zone northwest of Donetsk. Fighting continues for a number of settlements, including Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomayske and Nevelske.

The British defense ministry states that the situation in this area of the front remains unstable, and the shortage of personnel and ammunition is likely to limit the ability of Ukrainian forces to hold their positions.
Russian forces have intensified their assaults at the front, while Ukrainian forces are holding their positions near Avdiivka, preventing the enemy from advancing further.
British intelligence claims that Chasiv Yar near Bakhmut is likely to be the next target in the Donetsk region, as it is currently located about 5 km from the front line.
