The head of the Ukrainian state expressed his gratitude for Poland's consistent, unwavering support of Ukraine as a constant ally of the country on the way to joining the EU and NATO.

"Our common border should be a real European border. Border of unity. There should be no borders between our peoples," Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized.

Poland's support for the European Union's historic decision to open negotiations with Ukraine was noted.

The leaders also discussed the issue of providing Ukraine with financial and political support from the EU. The presidents exchanged views in the context of the approach of the NATO Washington Summit and the expected decisions of the Alliance.
