UNITED24 has raised nearly $350,000 after selling LEGO toy sets with popular Ukrainian sites

The #LEGOwithUKRAINE project, which featured three toy sets from artists worldwide dedicated to Ukraine's cultural heritage sites, raised $350,000.

The funds will be allocated for the eventual post-war restoration of Ukrainian cities and villages, the press release says. The first drop featured the works of three creators: Artur Samkov from Poland, Maksym Mityakin from Ukraine, and Yevhen Tonev from the US. They recreated Kyiv's Motherland statue, the Crimean Swallow's Nest, and an old water tower in Mariupol with LEGO pieces.

The pieces were raffled among those who donated $24 or more towards the reconstruction before November 28, 2023. The new drop to be announced in spring 2024.
