Before the Christmas holidays, Ukraine's Ministry of Defense has shared an advent calendar for Russian occupiers.

Throughout the 24 days of December, the ministry will reveal surprises for Russian invaders, Rubryka reports, citing the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

As the first three days of December have passed, three calendar "doors" have already been "opened."

On December 1, the ministry expressed gratitude to colleagues from the US Department of Defense for their unwavering support, especially for providing the M142 Himars multiple rocket launch systems.

"This weapon became a true legend on the battlefield. It sends flaming gifts to occupiers on a daily basis and destroys russian equipment worth millions of dollars," the post reads.

On December 2, gratitude was extended to Polish partners and the Ministry of Defense of Poland for both their constant support and supplying the self-propelled howitzer AHS Krab.

"Krab became one of the first 155mm artilleries in service with the Ukrainian army. This howitzer also became a nightmare for occupiers in the skillful hands of the Ukrainian artillerymen," said the Ministry of Defense.

On December 3, thanks were given to the British Ministry of Defense. The Ministry said that the UK was the first European country to send weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to resist Russian aggression. They thanked the UK for one of the best modern tanks, the Challenger 2.

"The Challenger 2 became an effective weapon in the professional hands of Ukrainian warriors. The spectacular combination of British technology and Ukrainian talent helps lo liberate our land from occupiers," said the Ukrainian defense ministry.

In the coming days, the Ministry of Defense will continue to "open doors" on the advent calendar.

Background

Ukraine's Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces have adopted four more NATO standards.

It was reported that the Ministry of Defense is testing Ukrainian drones from six manufacturers.

The 649th day of full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine is ongoing. In the past day, there were 68 military clashes.

The Ukrainian Air Force conducted eight strikes on areas with concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons, and military equipment, two on anti-aircraft missile systems, and two on ammunition depots.

Rocket troops targeted the heavy flame-throwing system and the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile-gun system, causing damage.

On December 3 alone, Ukrainian forces eliminated 770 more Russian occupiers. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost around 332,810 personnel.
