“There will be even more unity in September": Zelensky discusses additional aid from partners

The international community has started preparing an actionpacked September for Ukraine; it'll be just as busy as it's been lately.

The head of state reported that on Telegram.

"A united world is stronger than an aggressor. There will be even more unity in September," Zelensky stressed.

As the Ukrainian leader noted, the first issue is Ukraine's defense.

"New defense packages for Ukrainian soldiers. Artillery, armored vehicles, anti-aircraft defense, missiles, and means for demining. Each of the partners has been informed about our needs. We are waiting for solutions," Zelensky said.

The President also added that the second issue is security guarantees for Ukraine.

"The next rounds of negotiations and the joining of new countries to the joint security architecture are coming soon.

We are constantly adding to the content of the first Defense Industries Forum. Ukrainian content. International content. The free world needs more power to defend itself. Together, we have this potential and will demonstrate it," the head of state emphasized.

In addition, according to the words of the Ukrainian leader, Ukrainian participation in international events, particularly in the UN General Assembly session, is being prepared.

Zelensky also mentioned the next Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen. According to him, Ukraine is building up Ukrainian "soft power."

In addition, as the President emphasized, one of the priorities is world food security.

"There will be several meetings on these issues during the week," he added.

The head of state also mentioned the Global South. Ukraine has a new communication in this regard.

Zelensky also reported that a few days ago, the United States adopted a new sanction decision against Russian individuals and legal entities involved in the criminal deportation of Ukrainian children from our temporarily occupied territory.

"This is an important step. Ukraine is grateful for it. We are working on similar sanctions steps by our partners. Deporting children, deliberately and systematically trying to deprive them of any connection with their relatives, and trying to teach them to hate their native country is a Russian genocidal policy that deserves the same condemnation by everyone in the world.

And I thank every state, leader, and international institution that helped us restore justice," the Ukrainian head of state summed up.

For reference:

It should be noted that Western sanctions have a sufficient impact on the economic, industrial, and technological potential of the Russian Federation, and statements that they do not work are not true.
