Ukraine conducts special operation in occupied Crimea, causing losses to Russian forces

On the night of August 24, Ukrainian intelligence successfully conducted a special operation on the temporarily occupied peninsula, during which the Russian forces suffered losses.
Andriy Yusov, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense spokesperson, reported this to "Suspilne Krym," and President Zelensky mentioned it during his press conference with the Portuguese president.
As reported by the intelligence service, due to a special operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate on the occupied Crimean peninsula, Ukrainian special forces killed at least 30 Russians and damaged four speedboats.
According to preliminary data, the base of the 3rd radio engineering regiment, as part of the radio engineering troops of the Air and Space Forces of the Russian Federation, is located in the village of Mayak.
In addition, the "Nebo-M" radar station and the "Kasta-2E2" radar station are located there. Positions for air defense have been prepared along the perimeter.
In turn, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, commented on the special operation with the landing of Ukrainian troops in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The head of state noted that it was still too early to talk about the peninsula's liberation.
"It is too early to talk about the liberation of Crimea. This is the first. The second – I will have a detailed report from General Budanov. The third – yes, these are our guys. The fourth – there are no casualties from our side. This is good news. At least this is what I could discuss via the phone with the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense," he said.

Around 5:00, explosions rang out near the Lighthouse on Cape Tarkhankut. Later, it became known that a battle occurred as part of Ukraine's intelligence special operation with the participation of watercraft and aviation.
In a comment to the media, intelligence representatives noted that today's operation had the character of a raid that showed that Crimea was in the reach zone for conducting operations by Ukrainian soldiers.
Yusov also reported that the operation took place on the territory of Cape Tarkhankut, in the settlements of Mayak and Olenivka.
"There are no losses among our personnel. While the enemy suffered losses in forces and means, they are now being clarified. The scheduled work of the Ukrainian Security and Defense Forces continues," Yusov said.
He clarified that the Ukrainian military had already returned after the special operation, having completed the assigned tasks.
According to Oleksii Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, most likely, Ukraine will liberate Crimea by military means. After all, only in case of de-occupation of the peninsula will our state have certain security guarantees.
Moreover, the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, said that the Defense Forces of Ukraine are capable, if necessary, of striking the enemy in any part of the Crimea temporarily occupied by Russia. At the same time, Russians and Ukrainian collaborators should leave the peninsula.
