Time has come to condemn russia and support Ukrainian peace formula – Zelensky to UNSC

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, during a speech at an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council, called on the world to support the Ukrainian peace formula and condemn russian aggression.

Rubryka reports, referring to the speech of the Head of State at the UN meeting.

Zelensky called on the organization to condemn russian missile attacks on energy infrastructure.

The Ukrainian leader invited UN representatives to come and see what the aggressor country had done to Ukrainian infrastructure.

The president emphasized that Ukraine sees the consequences of russia destroying cities every day, the consequences of the russian "formula of terror."

"Tonight, we saw a rocket fire in the Zaporizhzhia region. This time, the hospital, the maternity ward, and the baby died. The child was only two days old when a russian missile killed him," Zelensky emphasized.

"Among you are representatives of a state that offers nothing to the world except terror, destabilization, and disinformation.

Any russian formulas do not provide for anything else. That is why I again emphasize it is time to support the Ukrainian peace formula!

We look to our partners for support to protect our skies. We need modern and effective air defense and missile defense systems.

What can a representative of a terrorist state tell you now? That peaceful people do not suffer from their rockets? Everything is obvious. It's all too obvious.

I urge you to take concrete steps to protect humanity and life!

The Security Council must give a clear assessment of the actions of the terrorist state following Chapter 7 of the UN Charter. "Ukraine proposes that the Security Council adopt such a resolution condemning any form of energy terror," the President said.

Zelensky also said that Ukraine proposes a resolution condemning any form of energy terror.

The President believes shelling the Ukrainian energy industry is an "obvious crime against humanity."

According to Zelensky, the russian federation should not take part in votes related to its aggression against Ukraine.

The President believes that a terrorist state cannot take part in any vote regarding its aggression.

Zelensky also called for a change in the practice according to which the russian federation, as a terrorist country, has the right to veto any decisions of the Security Council.
