On November 15, during the mass missile attack of the russian federation against Ukraine, which was the largest since the beginning of the full-scale war, CIA Director Bill Burns arrived in Kyiv

CNN and The Washington Post write about it.

Burns was safe at the US Embassy during the massive attack.

As noted, the Director of the US Central Intelligence Agency, William Burns, managed to meet with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.

He thereby confirmed the support of the US on the same day when russian missiles attacked the capital and other regions.

In Kyiv, Burns "reinforced the US commitment to support Ukraine in its fight against russian aggression," the official said.

Burns also met with his Ukrainian intelligence colleagues and discussed the US warning he issued Monday to the head of russia's Foreign Intelligence Service "not to use nuclear weapons" in a war against Ukraine.

It should be noted that on November 14, Burns met in Ankara with the Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the russian federation, Sergey Naryshkin.

This was the first known high-level contact between the US and russia since the russian invasion of Ukraine.

The Wall Street Journal previously reported that Jake Sullivan, the US President's national security adviser, has held confidential discussions with his russian counterpart, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, and senior kremlin aide on foreign policy Yuriy Ushakov over the past few months.

Senior officials told the newspaper that they discussed ways to protect against the risk of a nuclear escalation in the war in Ukraine but did not hold any talks on ways to end the conflict.

Reference

We will remind you that on November 15, russia massively attacked the country with missiles.

In addition to Kyiv, missile strikes were carried out in Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, Volyn, Lviv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions.

As Rubryka reported, on November 15, the enemy attacked Kyiv with missiles, and residential buildings were hit in one of the districts.

On this day, the russian occupying forces fired about a hundred missiles across Ukraine. This is more than was launched by the invaders during a massive missile strike on October 10, when they directed 84 missiles at Ukraine.
