On March 1, 2022 validity of passports of citizens of Ukraine to travel abroad may be extended for 5 years

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports about it, Rubryka informs.

It is noted that the relevant resolution was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on February 28, 2022, in connection with the military aggression of the Russian Federation and imposing martial law on the territory of Ukraine.

In addition, the passports of parents or legal representatives of children with a photo indicating their

personal data. This information identifies them and confirms the citizenship of Ukraine.

"Territorial bodies/territorial subdivisions of the State Migration Service of Ukraine, as well as embassies and consulates of Ukraine, have an extension of passports, pasting photos of the child in the passports of parents or legal representatives," the statement said.

"But the enemy is vile and insidious. He also aims to seize confidential information from the citizens of Ukraine.

We have deliberately removed the address of the location of our territorial subdivisions; this is a forced measure in the interests of national security!" the message emphasized.
