Solutions to win: Ukrainian engineers create incendiary munitions for drones

The Wild Hornets volunteer development group has produced incendiary munitions designed to be dropped from drones.

Rubryka writes about this, referring to the developers' Telegram channel.

What is the problem?

Every soldier's life is priceless, so any initiative aimed at their preservation comes to the fore today. That is why Ukraine is actively developing the production of drones, the use of which saves the lives of defenders.

They need a thousand different modifications so that they can fly as far as possible to the enemy's rear. After all, kamikaze drones successfully destroy the enemy's equipment and Russian manpower at the front.

What is the solution?

The company Wild Hornets has produced incendiary ammunition designed to be dropped from drones.

How does it work?

The developers report that the ammunition can be used to set fire to:

  • trenches,
  • ammunition,
  • equipment of the Russian troops.

In addition, if they hit a horizontal part of lightly armored equipment, they can burn it and cause ignition since the burning temperature is up to 2500 °C.

The developers emphasize that ammunition works more reliably when dropped from low heights.

Depending on its technical characteristics, such ammunition costs from $10 to $25 per piece.

In addition, the developers have announced 500-gram ammunition for Mavic-type drones, but the price is not yet indicated.

Development and production of Ukrainian drones

We will remind that the Ukrainian company is launching its own analogue of the Chinese quadrocopter DJI Mavic into serial production.

As previously reported, Ukrainian specialists have produced a drone that can easily fly to Russian Siberia. The drone's flight range is 3,000 km.

We will remind that President Volodymyr Zelensky was presented with a new barrage munition that will be able to strike targets at an operational-tactical depth of more than 100 kilometers.

In addition, modernized Ukrainian drones can now deliver almost a ton of explosives over 1,000 kilometers.

It was also reported that Ukraine's security service maritime drones have no analogs in the West and are invisible to enemy detection systems. Currently, Ukraine is armed with Sea Baby and Mamay sea drones.
