President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his readiness to go with the presumptive candidate for the presidency of the United States, Donald Trump, to the front in Ukraine so that the American guest could see the reality of the war, which he wants to stop "in 24 hours."

The head of state said this at the Munich Security Conference.

At first, Zelensky recalled that he had previously publicly invited Trump to Ukraine and that the Ukrainian authorities are grateful to the US for supporting both parties and "always want them to know what is really happening in this war."

"And if Mr. Trump comes, I'm ready to go to the front with him. I think if we're going to have a conversation about how to end the war, we have to show the decision-makers what this war means. Not that people write about it on Instagram, but the real war," he added.

It is worth noting that Donald Trump, who is seeking re-election in 2024 after winning the Republican primaries in Iowa, promised to resolve the war in Ukraine "very quickly."

According to the media, in case of victory, Trump is going to "reduce obligations" to some NATO members and also plans to push Ukraine and Russia into negotiations.

It should be noted that in November, Volodymyr Zelensky already offered Trump to come to Ukraine. But the former US president refused, citing a "conflict of interest" with the current administration of Joe Biden.

For reference:

This year, the anniversary (precisely 60 years have passed since the first such event in Munich) of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) started on February 16 and will last until February 18, with the participation of more than 50 country leaders and 100 ministers.

The global security crisis, armed conflicts, migration problems, the climate, and the development of the latest technologies are on the agenda. Aid to Ukraine is one of the main topics.

It should be noted that for the first time, the countries of the Global South will be widely represented at the MSC. However, the governments of Russia and Iran were not invited.

President Volodymyr Zelensky also takes part in the event. He is attending the conference as part of his trip to Germany and France, with which he signed agreements on security guarantees for Ukraine.

On the morning of February 17, the Ukrainian president made a speech, calling to stop the aggressor and pointing out the risks for the world.
