Six Ukrainian MAGURA drones have destroyed Russian missile boat "Ivanovets" – Ukraine's intelligence chief

The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, in a comment to TheWarZone, said that the Russian missile boat "Ivanovets" was destroyed by Ukrainian-made MAGURA V5 naval drones.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported this.

"The mission was planned and implemented by the operators of the special unmanned unit of the military intelligence of Ukraine "Group 13″, the vessel of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation was sunk by Ukrainian-made MAGURA V5 shock systems. There were six direct hits to the hull," Budanov said.

According to him, the ship overturned to the stern due to the damage and sank.

MAGURA naval drones

Ukraine's intelligence noted that MAGURA (Marine autonomous security unmanned robotic device) is a multi-purpose system that can conduct surveillance, reconnaissance, mine countermeasures, search, rescue, and combat missions.

MAGURA V5 drones can transport up to 300 kg of explosives at a distance of up to 800 kilometers.

It should be noted that the Ukrainian defenders have already conducted dozens of operations on the Crimean peninsula and in the Black Sea, destroying Russian bases, warehouses, and ships.

In turn, the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, said that the Defense Forces of Ukraine are capable, if necessary, of striking the enemy in any part of the Crimea temporarily occupied by Russia.

In addition, on January 18, a Russian patrol ship of Project 205P, "Tarantul," sank in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol of the Crimean peninsula.

On the night of February 1, Ukrainian scouts destroyed the missile boat "Ivanovets" of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation. Its value is approximately 60-70 million dollars.
