Zelensky and Zambia's President Hichilema discuss peace formula and grain agreement in phone call
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke with Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema via telephone.
The head of state wrote about this on Telegram.
"I had a phone call with President of Zambia Hakainde Hichilema.
The Peace Formula is more relevant than ever. It is the only way to a just peace and stability in the world that can be taken as a basis. And we are actively working with partners to organize the Global Peace Summit. I invited Zambia to participate in the implementation of the Peace Formula and to join the next meeting at the level of advisors and the preparation of the Global Peace Summit," the message reads.
The leaders of the states also discussed the need to continue the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
"Together, we must put an end to Russian attempts to use food as a weapon, as well as to Russian blackmail of the world with hunger and high food prices," the President of Ukraine noted.
In addition, Zelensky and Hichilema talked about holding the Ukraine-Africa summit and subsequent international events.
