By shelling the Kherson region, Russian terrorists are trying to worsen further the situation they caused by blowing up the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP).

Volodymyr Zelensky said this in a video message.

"Russian terrorists are trying to worsen the situation they caused with their ecocide. Absolutely deliberately. They continue to shell Kherson and the region's communities, which terrorists already flood," the Ukrainian president emphasized.

Zelensky stated that the troops of the aggressor country are shelling even evacuation points, and this is "such a manifestation of evil, which, apparently, no terrorists in the world, except Russian ones, have attempted."

The head of the Ukrainian state stressed that the Russian occupiers completely abandoned the people on the left bank of the Kherson region, where the disaster had only been expanding for the second day.

"This is also a completely conscious choice of the Russian leadership. No people in the world today would not see that non-humans rule Russia. Non-humans who are personally the biggest disaster on the planet today," he said.

The president also stressed that Ukraine and international partners should do everything to show the world they can deal with such disasters and terrorists.
