In the coming months, Ukraine, with the support of the government of France, will deploy modular hospitals to provide medical care to patients in regions where active hostilities and large-scale destruction are taking place.

The Ministry of Health press service reports this.

An agreement was reached at a meeting held between the French President's Special Envoy for Aid and Reconstruction of Ukraine, Pierre Heilbronn, and the Minister of Health of Ukraine, Viktor Liashko.

The parties also agree on a plan to rebuild destroyed or damaged medical facilities in the Chernihiv region.

At this time, the mission of the French side, which is supposed to assess the cost and scope of the reconstruction project, has already completed its work in the region.

In addition, France plans to rebuild a hospital in Izium, Kharkiv region.

Pierre Heilbronn noted that an assistance package would be formed in the near future, including macro-financial assistance, expert, joint short-term projects, and cooperation in the restoration of destroyed or damaged medical facilities.

It should be noted that the first modular paramedic station was opened in Yasnohorodka, Kyiv region.

For reference:

As Rubryka wrote, Ukraine and France signed a memorandum on strengthening cooperation on damage assessment and restoration of Ukrainian transport systems, emphasizing the transition to ecological low-carbon mobility.

On April 21, the French Minister of Transport, Clément Beaune, came to Ukraine and announced the supply of 25 tons of rails to restore about 150 km of tracks.
