Solutions from Ukraine: Yasnohorodka in Kyiv region opens first modular paramedic station

The first modular paramedic station was opened in the village of Yasnohorodka, 30 kilometers from Kyiv.

What is the problem?

In early March 2022, the village of Yasnogorodka was subjected to massive attacks by the Russian army for two weeks, resulting in residential buildings, infrastructure, and a church being destroyed.

In addition, an ostrich farm located on the village's territory was damaged. Later, the settlement came under Russian occupation. The Russian occupiers were pushed out of Yasnohorodka on March 25 during the counteroffensive of Ukrainian troops.

What is the solution?

The modular paramedic station was built by the Reinvent Ukraine fund, which specializes in restoring damaged social infrastructure.

How does it work?

"At the end of January 2023, the management of the Byshivska territorial community approached us with a request to help establish a modular paramedic-midwifery station. The previous medical station was destroyed due to Russian aggression, which left the community without a medical facility. Therefore, we began to look for a solution to this problem," – the foundation director Tetyana Pachynasays.

The paramedic station, with a floor area of 48 square meters, comprises a waiting area, two reception rooms, and a technical room. Josef Onderky, a benefactor from the Czech Republic, generously donated the 31 thousand euro funds necessary to complete the project.
