Iran provided russia with another 250 kamikaze drones — President of Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Iran had provided russia with a new batch of drones. In total, the russian federation received 250 Shaheds.

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in an address to the participants of the meeting of the leaders of the United Kingdom Expeditionary Force, the President's Office reports.

Zelensky said: "This night, Ukraine was again attacked by Iranian drones. Some 34 Shaheds. I say both the quantity and the name, quite specifically. These are Shaheds from a new batch received by Russia from Iran. Some 250 units – this is the total number of Shaheds received by the terrorist state."

According to the president, russian missiles and Iranian drones are constantly used to strike primarily at Ukrainian energy.

In particular, the recent massive attack on Ukraine affected more than 20 million Ukrainians, and million-plus cities and most Ukrainian regions were left in a complete blackout.

In total, on the evening of December 16, 22 million 408 thousand Ukrainians were disconnected from the energy supply.

More than 10 million people were cut off from water and heat supplies.

According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, the russian federation has renewed strikes on Ukraine with Iranian Shahed kamikaze drones thanks to a new batch but uses them more sparingly.

On the night of December 18-19, russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine with Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones, 30 of which were destroyed by the Defense Forces.
