Ukrainian military carried out at least seven counterattacks in one day - Arestovych

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have carried out at least seven counterattacks over the past 24 hours.

This was announced at a briefing by Oleksii Arestovych, an adviser to the OPU chairperson.

"The armed forces are in control of the situation: shooting down enemy planes and cruise missiles, like tonight, they do not allow the enemy to gain a foothold where it wants to move," he said.

"Mariupol is holding up heroically. There was a counterattack, a tank column was destroyed. The Joint Forces Operation Zone is being held, where one of Ukraine's airborne units destroyed an enemy column. Kharkiv is in a counterattack. That is, our army knows what it's doing," Arestovych said.

It should be noted that in Sumy, the defenders of Ukraine seized the Russian parade tank; it was intact and the flag of the Russian Federation was hoisted over it.
