President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on a telephone conversation with Kristalina Georgieva, Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund.

He wrote about this on Twitter.

The parties discussed the IMF's financial support during the Russian aggression. Georgieva confirmed her intention to promptly support the Ukrainian people.

"I am grateful for the urgent assistance already provided by the fund. The IMF should take the lead in financing the reconstruction of Ukraine after the end of Russian aggression," Zelenskyy said.

To recap, on the night of March 4 the Russian occupiers fired from tanks at the first power unit of the Zaporizhzhia NPP then there was a fire. At 7 am the fire was extinguished.

Earlier, Arakhamia said that the Kadyrovites were responsible for the attack on ZNPP.

It was reported that employees of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant were allowed to work. But the station staff is currently exhausted, they need a change. At present, the consequences of the capture of ZNPP are difficult to predict.

One power unit continues to operate at the captured Zaporizhzhia NPP, personnel have been allowed to work, but all six reactors contain nuclear fuel and a catastrophe will occur if the missile hits.
