"Hearing now that NATO's Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF) has been activated. Excellent news," the diplomat wrote.
The NATO Response Force (NRF) is a NATO military unit with high technology equipment and a high level of combat readiness. They consist of ground, air, and sea units, as well as special forces. Designed for the fastest possible deployment anywhere on Earth. There are several brigades with a total number of up to 25 thousand people.
It should be noted that Michael McFaul mentioned a specific group of the Rapid Reaction Force, namely the "Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF)", consisting of a ground brigade of about 5,000 people, air and naval units. support, as well as special forces. Two additional brigades of up to 30,000 people can be added to the group.
