Humanitarian aid from France for over UAH 3 million arrived in Kramatorsk - Naiev

As part of the international strategic "Help East" initiative, a road train with humanitarian shipping worth over 3 million hryvnias once again arrived in Kramatorsk from France.

The press service of the Joint Forces Command of the Armed Forces announced this, Rubryka reports.

According to the founder of the Help East initiative, the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Serhii Naiev, the cargo is intended for health care facilities located in the area of ​​the Joint Forces Operation.

"Kramatorsk city and children's hospitals, Mariupol military hospital, and Toretsk city hospital will receive assistance," Lieutenant-General Serhii Naiev said.

He also added that 84 multifunctional beds were received for the needs of medical institutions. These are highly specialized beds for resuscitation and surgical departments, specialized beds with magnetic protection for people with spatial orientation problems, orthopedic mattresses, and medical supplies.

"Preliminary study of the hospitals' existing problems, selection and delivery of the necessary equipment to institutions is a characteristic feature of our strategic initiative," the commander said.

To recap, Lieutenant-General Serhii Naiev launched the aid initiative "Help East" in April 2018. In 2019, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak approved it.

Today, the partners of the humanitarian project are the "Medical and Charitable Assistance France – Ukraine" Association (headed by Diana Dolce), the Association of International Road Carriers of Ukraine led by Leonid Kostiuchenko, and LLC "Sanagro Ukraine" (director Oleksandr Skrypka).
