The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and approved the delivery to the army of an unmanned aircraft complex called "Black Widow" [Chorna Vdova in Ukrainian – ed.].

Ministry of Defense reported that.

"These are drones of a tactical level of action. An experienced pilot can use them both during the day and at night," the agency stated.

The Ministry of Defense has recognized that the reusable quadcopter can also function in shock FPV mode.

In addition, the relatively low price of one drone allows it to be used in this version as well, the message states.

Made in a single-use format, the Black Widow copter takes an enhanced charge of explosives on board.

For reference:

During a press conference on December 19, 2023, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky said that one million drones would be produced in Ukraine next year.

By 2024, over 1 million FPV drones will be joined by at least 10,000 medium-range attack drones and over 1,000 drones that can cover distances of 1,000 km in production.

The drone industry in Ukraine is proliferating, with over 100 companies currently producing drones in the country.

Earlier, the head of Ukraine's Security Service announced that a unique marine surface drone, "Sea Baby," was produced in Ukraine. The drones are produced in Ukraine, but the factories are underground.

It is worth adding that the construction of the Bayraktar drone production plant continues in Ukraine. It is planned to produce more than 100 units of drones every year.

Ukrainian drone manufacturers are already capable of producing up to 150,000 units of products every month, and by the end of 2024, they plan to produce a total of 2 million drones.

Also in Ukraine, participants of the Brave1 cluster have developed a unique reusable drone-bomber called Hummel, which can cover a distance of up to 20 km.
