For reference:

As previously reported by Rubryka, Ukraine plans to significantly increase its production of various types of weapons. The focus will mainly be on missiles and ammunition for anti-aircraft defense.

The deputy head of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk, stated on the air of the national telethon that the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Strategic Industries are working together to significantly increase the production of missiles, ammunition, weapons, and military equipment by 2024.

It is worth adding that Ukraine and Belgium are planning to establish a joint production of weapons.

In turn, the German concern Rheinmetall is conducting negotiations on the construction of a tank plant in Ukraine. Moreover, the Kremlin's threats to intensify the bombing of Ukraine will not affect the intentions of the German arms company Rheinmetall regarding this construction.

Also, Ukraine together with the German concern Rheinmetall will produce Lynx armored vehicles. The first car will be released already this year.

Even earlier it was reported that JSC Ukrainian Defense Industry together with the Polish company Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa will jointly produce 125 mm tank shells. Ukraine and Poland signed the corresponding agreement on April 5, 2024.

In addition, Ukraine, together with one of the NATO countries, began to produce 122-mm artillery shells. The first batch of ammunition has already been sent to the front.

Currently, about 300,000 people have been recruited to work in the defense complex of Ukraine.

JSC Ukrainian Defense Industry signed a memorandum of cooperation with the leading German company Dynamit Nobel Defense.

In addition, JSC Ukrainian Defense Industry will produce small arms in accordance with NATO standards.

Ukraine also creates joint ventures with partners. Thus, Ukraine and the USA recently agreed to launch a joint venture for the repair and maintenance of American armored vehicles.
