Russian troops increase drone attacks against civilians on south by 40%

Russian forces used 234 FPV drones within the frontline southern regions, thus increasing their number by almost 40% compared to the previous day.

Russian troops also used 13 Lancet-type attack drones and dropped 269 fragmentation munitions from drones of various modifications.

 

"And there is a steady upward trend of at least 15% daily. But our electronic warfare is working quite well against them.

Three civilians were wounded as a result of the use of drones and explosive munitions."

On the night of March 24, Russian forces launched 57 air targets at Ukraine: the air defense forces shot down 18 of 29 missiles and 25 of 28 Shahed-type attack drones.

On the night of March 22, the enemy launched more than 150 drones and missiles of various types at Ukraine. Air defense forces shot down 55 Shaheds and 37 missiles.

Critical infrastructure facilities were hit in a number of cities, causing casualties.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that Ukraine's energy system had suffered one of the largest air attacks in two years.

As a result, about 20 substations and power plants, including the Dnipro hydroelectric power plant, were damaged.
