Explosions rock occupied Crimea

On the morning of February 1, explosions were heard in the occupied Crimea.

Local residents note that the explosions were heard in the city of Saky in the western part of Crimea, Rubryka reports, referring to the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind."

The explosions also came from the direction of the city of Yevpatoria

The village of Novofedorivka near Saky has a military airfield. The 43rd Fighter Aviation Regiment of the Russian Air Force, which supports Russian troops in Ukraine's south, is based there.

The occupiers' group is equipped with Su-24 bombers and Su-30 fighter jets.

Explosions in occupied Crimea on January 31

Yesterday, the occupied Crimea was repeatedly rocked by explosions. They were heard both in the Sevastopol area and near the city of Saky. Local Telegram channels published photos and videos showing traces of missiles in the sky.

There were also reports on social media of a supposed fire in the area of the Belbek airfield after the explosions and the work of the Russian air defense. Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, hinted at a strike on the Belbek airfield.

The Russians confirmed that on January 31, the Belbek airfield in occupied Crimea was attacked. In particular, a communication point of the Russian military unit 80159 was hit.

According to open sources, this military unit belongs to the Belbek airfield.

"The communication point caught fire; the area of the fire was about 30 square meters. There were no casualties, preliminary," the statement said.

Moreover, on January 30, in the occupied Crimea, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a radar station of the Russian air defense system. The enemy target was located near the village of Rozdolne.
