Russian drones attack Ukraine's south: Air defense downs 27 aerial threats
On Tuesday night, the Ukrainian forces downed 27 out of 36 Russian drones attacking the southern regions.
The Air Force said on the Telegram messaging app that the Russian forces used Shahed-131/136 drones, Rubryka reports.
"The drones were launched out from Cape Chauda in Russian-occupied Crimea. The Air Force and the air defense forces collectively downed 27 Shahed-131/136 drones within Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions," the statement said.
Rubryka reported that 39 combat clashes between Ukrainian and Russian forces took place on the front line during the past day. The Russians launched one missile, 63 air strikes, and 47 rocket attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian facilities. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
