Russia launches drone attack on Kyiv region, injuring one civilian

On July 2, in the Kyiv region, during a Russian–initiated attack at night, fragments from an unmanned aerial vehicle caused damage to several buildings and resulted in a man sustaining injuries.
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram.
As reported in the military administration, no facts of hits were recorded.
Three private houses were damaged due to falling debris in two districts of the region.
In addition, a resident of one of the houses was injured; he received a leg wound. Necessary medical aid was rendered.
On the night of July 2, Russian invaders attacked Kyiv with Shahed drones; all UAVs were destroyed by Ukrainian air defense.
"This time, the enemy used unmanned aerial vehicles, according to preliminary information – Shahed barrage munitions. This is the first attack by Iranian drones on Kyiv since the beginning of the month and in the last 12 days.
All enemy targets in the airspace around Kyiv were identified and destroyed by the forces and means of our air defense," Serhii Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, said.

It should be noted that on June 24, Kyiv was attacked by Russian missiles. As a result of the fall of the fragments of a cruise missile in the Solomiansk district of Kyiv, two people died. Another 11 were injured.
In addition, on July 1, Russian invaders set fire to the residential quarters of Kherson: one of the shells hit a house, resulting in two children being injured.
As Rubryka wrote, Ukrainian air defenses landed more than 150 Shaheds and 140 cruise missiles during June.
