Russia mobilizes 300 tanks and 50,000 personnel at Bakhmut front – Ukraine's General Cherevaty

The enemy has a sizeable contingent of approximately 50,000 combatants at the Bakhmut front, of which there is no indication of the presence of Wagner mercenaries.

Serhiy Cherevaty, the spokesman of the Eastern Group of Forces of Ukraine's armed forces, said this on the air of the telethon "Yedyni Novyny," Ukrinform reports.

"Today, there are no Wagner mercenaries on the Bakhmut front. There is a fairly powerful enemy group there – up to 50,000, more than 300 tanks, more than 330 artillery systems, and 140 rocket salvo systems," the spokesman said.

According to him, paratroopers, infantry units, ground defense troops, the combat army reserve, the so-called "Leopards," and parts of units of small PMCs are fighting on this front.

Cherevaty noted that the conflict between different segments of the enemy's forces is very beneficial to the Ukrainian side.

"No one wants to share failures, only victories… Quarrels between their units began against the background of the failures that happened to them in Ukraine," Cherevaty emphasized.

For reference:

It should be noted that the Air Force of Ukraine's armed forces made 11 strikes on Russian positions during the day.

In total, the Ukrainian army eliminated 228,340 Russian soldiers.

Maliar, Deputy Defense Minister, has reported that Ukraine's armed forces have been working to ensure a secure position in the south by equalizing the battlefront.
