Ukraine's armed forces capture over ten enemy positions near Bakhmut – deputy defense minister
On May 14, the Defense Forces of Ukraine captured more than ten enemy positions in the north and south of the outskirts of Bakhmut and cleared a large area of the forest massif in the Ivanovo district, capturing the occupiers.
The Deputy Minister of Defense, Hanna Maliar, reported this on Telegram.
"We continue to move forward on the Bakhmut front in the suburbs.
Today, our units captured more than ten enemy positions in the north and south of the outskirts of Bakhmut and cleared a large area of the forest massif in the Ivanovo district. Enemy soldiers from different units were captured," she said.
According to Maliar, it is "very hot" in Bakhmut itself.
"The enemy has gathered all its forces there and is trying to advance, destroying everything on the way. Fierce battles are going on," she wrote.

The Special Operations Forces of Ukraine's armed forces conducted an operation in the area of the Bakhmut, Donetsk region, eliminating a group of Russian invaders. Snipers of the Special Operations Forces identified a contingent of hostile forces. Following a successful engagement, 12 out of 15 enemy combatants were eliminated by fire.
