NATO chief arrives in Kyiv for unannounced visit
The Kyiv Independent reports that Stoltenberg was spotted in Mykhailivskyi Square in the center of the Ukrainian capital on Thursday morning.
The Kyiv Independent published a photo of the General Secretary commemorating the fallen Ukrainian soldiers.

On Wednesday, Stoltenberg was in Brussels for a meeting at the NATO headquarters with the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel.
The day before, the head of the Alliance said that the Western allies would not refuse to support Ukraine in the war against the Russian Federation, despite the Kremlin's threat to use nuclear weapons.
President Volodymyr Zelensky previously stated that Ukraine would not agree to alternative proposals that could replace NATO membership.
The eleventh meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group will be held at the American Ramstein Air Base in Germany on April 21.
