russian assault on Kyiv highly unlikely – Ukrainian Intelligence
Currently, the army of the russian federation has no plans to launch an attack on the capital of Ukraine – Kyiv.
The Head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, stated in an interview with the "Voice of America" media.
"Do you mean russia's attempt to attack Kyiv? We don't know anything about such plans, and no real signs exist. It's not that we don't know of them (plans – ed.) – they don't exist. Maybe when they (russians- ed.) suffer certain defeats, they will look for a quick solution, but it will be a disaster for them. The next one is approximately the same as it was then (when russians failed to take down Kyiv in 2022 – ed.)," Budanov said.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that the russian dictator, vladimir putin, is not ready to attack Ukraine from the territory of belarus because russian troops are no longer as strong as they were a year ago.
