The West allegedly seeks to divide the russian federation into parts,  endangering the existence of the russian ethnic group.

The russian dictator announced on the russian state propaganda TV channel, TASS writes.

According to the russian leader, if the West succeeds in liquidating the russian federation, the russian people will not be able to survive as a whole nation. They will disintegrate into separate regional identities that will form in the ruins of russia.

"If we follow this path, the destinies of many peoples of russia, and above all, of course, the russian people, can change radically, well, simply radically.

I don't even know if such an ethnic group as the russian people can survive in the form it is today. Well, there will be some Muscovites, Uralians, and so on. This was all in the plans; these plans are laid out on paper," Putin said.

The russian dictator expressed his conviction that the West's goal was dividing the russian federation into separate parts.

"They (the Western countries – ed.)  have one goal – to "disband" the former Soviet Union and its main part – the russian federation. And then, perhaps, they will accept us into the so-called family of civilized nations, but only separately, each part separately. For what? To push these parts around and bring them under their control," putin emphasized.

For reference:

On February 21, Putin addressed the deputies of the Federal Assembly, senators, and deputies of the State Duma (the lower house of the Federal Assembly) of the russian federation.

He had been reading his message for almost 2 hours, but during this time, he did not announce any "victories" of russia at the front, the declaration of war, or a new wave of mobilization.

In addition, the russian dictator announced that russia was suspending its participation in the Strategic Offensive Reductions Treaty. vladimir putin also ordered the russian military to prepare for nuclear weapons tests.
