Ministry of Digital Tranformation: Internet cable connecting Europe and Asia will pass through Ukraine

Vodafone Group intends to lay an Internet cable through Ukraine to connect Europe and Asia.
It is reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation and Vodafone Group agreed on cooperation in the field of global Internet communications. In the future, the Internet connection between Europe and Asia will pass through Ukraine. There are plans to build an underwater cable across the Black Sea, open new data centers and strengthen the existing network.
Of the 5.4 billion Internet users worldwide, most are concentrated in Asia and the Middle East. New technologies require the exchange of a huge amount of data. According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Ukraine can become Europe's digital hub.
