He also thanked them for the leadership's help in protecting Ukraine's shared values—freedom, democracy, and independence.

We should note that russian president putin will not send the Head of the White House congratulations on Independence Day due to "the culmination of Washington's unfriendly policy."

We will remind you that for eight years, russia conducted a hybrid military aggression against Ukraine, and on February 24, 2022, this terrorist state launched a full-scale war.

The United States actively helps Ukraine with weapons and sanctions against russia.

US President Joe Biden said that the United States would allocate a new military aid package to Ukraine for 800 million dollars in the coming days, which will include, in particular, new air defense systems, artillery systems, and ammunition.

"Over the next few days, we intend to announce the allocation of another 800 million dollars," the US president emphasized.

He noted that the package would include counter-battery radars and missiles for the MLRS systems previously provided to Ukraine. In addition, according to him, new HIMARS systems are being sent to Ukraine from other countries.

Biden also emphasized the need to preserve the unity of the Group of Seven and NATO partners in the face of challenges created by russia's war against Ukraine.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his gratitude to the President of the United States of America, Joseph Biden, and the entire American people for the new package of defense aid to Ukraine worth 450 million dollars.

The package includes four HIMARS high-mobility artillery rocket systems, 36,000 rounds of 105 mm ammunition, 18 tactical vehicles to tow 155 mm artillery, 1,200 grenade launchers, 2,000 machine guns, and 18 coastal and riverine patrol boats, spare parts, and other equipment.
