In the morning, the russian occupation forces launched another missile strike on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region
Sloviansk mayor Vadym Liakh announced it today on the air of Ukraine Speaks TV marathon of Dom and UA TV channels.
The mayor urged people to evacuate and not to return home yet. According to Liakh, due to an attack by the russian army, three private houses in one of the city's neighborhoods were destroyed. Also, about ten others were damaged.
"Unfortunately, the city is under fire for the second day in a row. Today there was also a missile attack early in the morning, three private houses were destroyed, and many homes were damaged. Fortunately, the victims were avoided this time, although there were casualties yesterday.
Therefore, we urge people to evacuate and not return home yet because it is dangerous. Now we are taking people out of the city; every day, our buses run in the direction of Dnipro, Rivne, and other cities," said the mayor.
Liakh noted that about 70-100 people were leaving the city a day. But about 30,000 people remain.
"People have the opportunity to leave. We do pre-registration and submit buses for the number that has been registered.
There is an opportunity to leave. However, everyone has different reasons to stay. They believe that the city is not a flashpoint yet; everything is postponed until the last moment," the mayor stressed.
Sloviansk mayor also said that the infrastructure in Sloviansk was damaged due to the shelling.
"Today, I hope that we will restore the water supply in most city districts, but one or two have more difficulties; they probably will last for several days," said Liakh.
According to him, there are no problems with food in the city yet; people are also provided with humanitarian aid. At the same time, he noted that no matter what reserves had been made, 30,000 city residents were quite a large number. And everyone needs to be served.
"Of course, the stocks are made for the critical moment, but it's not for a month or two and so on; all has its reserves and opportunities," said Liakh.
To recap, yesterday invaders beat Sloviansk from the Iskander missile complex last night, resulting in deaths and wounded.

The city of Sloviansk is thought to be critical to Moscow's objective of capturing all of Ukraine's East.
