First stage of population evacuation began in Sumy
The first stage of the evacuation of the population has begun in the city of Sumy.
According to Rubryka, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko announced this in a Telegram.
"Sumy was given a green corridor, the first stage of evacuation has begun," he said.
Tymoshenko also released a video showing evacuation convoys with citizens.

A humanitarian corridor for the city of Sumy is to open on March 8.
The route of the humanitarian corridor for evacuation of people is one: Sumy – Holubivka – Lokhvytsia – Lubny – Poltava.
According to Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, no other routes have been agreed upon.
