Official! Mariupol City Council announces the evacuation of the population on March 6

In Mariupol, the evacuation of civilians begins at 12:00

The Mariupol City Council announced this, Rubryka reports.

According to the Coordination Center headed by the head of the Donetsk Regional Civil-Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko, a ceasefire will be established today, March 6, from 10:00 to 21:00.

The evacuation of civilians begins at 12:00.

The route Mariupol – Portovske – Manhush – (bypassing Mykilskyi) Respublika – Rozivka – Bilmak – Polohy – Orikhiv – Zaporizhzhia was chosen as a humanitarian "green" corridor.

Evacuation of the population will be from three locations by municipal buses:

  • Illichivets Insurance Company (53 Nakhimova Ave.)
  • Drama Theater (Teatralna Square, 1)
  • Kalmyk District Administration (193 Metalurhiv Ave.)

Following the route of the humanitarian corridor, you can leave the city by private transport, moving in a column of municipal transport (exclusively by bus).

The head of the column will be accompanied by the Red Cross. We ask all drivers leaving the city to facilitate the evacuation of civilians as much as possible, take people with you, fill the transport as much as possible.

It is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to deviate from the route of the humanitarian corridor.

Additional notification of the city residents will be made by the national police.
