In Ternopil, restaurants prepare free lunches and dinners for police and terrorists

Hot lunches and dinners for police and territorial are prepared free of charge in Ternopil restaurants.

Kitchen workers said they would work as much as needed, Suspilne reports.

Both first and second courses are prepared.

"Today there will be potatoes, beet salad, and cutlets. We started with a smaller number of people, 50-60 people, and now we have reached 200 for one meal. We help our people as much as we can. We cook, feed them. As they say, we bring our share to the victory. We believe in it," says the local chef.

The establishments prepare meals for the police, the National Guard, and the Territorial Defense. Wholesalers and philanthropists help with the products.

"We are delivering about 250 lunches and 250 dinners at the moment. And we can do more because there are products, there are people who can work, there are also delivery cars. Beads were sent to Kyiv today," the owner of the venue Mykola Deretskyi said.

How much money is spent on giving away food for free is not counted, says Mykola: "We don't think about it at all. Well, I'll still count how much I didn't earn. I think it's ridiculous at this time. Now I want the children and the wife to be healthy."

"We are patriotic and understand that at this time we must help as much as we can. This is definitely a loss because we do not work in the way we should work, we have no customers. But at the expense of passers-by, people who start to have lunch, even though some money comes in, which we practically redirect to help our army," said the owner of another establishment, Vasyl Oleksii.
