Ministry of Health offers weekend quarantine: Stepanov explained what would work

Because of the coronavirus incidence increasing rapidly, the Ministry of Health will propose severing quarantine restrictions, including introducing weekend quarantine.
Health Minister Maksym Stepanov stated this at a briefing.
"The incidence is exploding. Therefore, we've decided to intensify quarantine restrictions. Realizing that besides COVID-19 we have a poor economy, and a complete lockdown will be difficult, especially for small and medium-sized businesses, we're offering weekend quarantine. It means that on weekends, from 00:00 Saturday to 00:00 Monday, only grocery stores, pharmacies, transport, veterinary pharmacies, gas stations will operate. The rest like restaurants, cafes, or other catering establishments will work exclusively for takeaway. We recommend other stores be closed," Stepanov said.
According to him, it also concerns entertaining mass events.
The Minister stressed that they do this in order to break the chain of human-to-human virus transmission and bring down the spread of the disease.
