Russian missiles attack Lviv region overnight, violating Polish airspace
Russian forces attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles again, targeting Lviv region.
The region was attacked with 27 targets, mayor Andrii Sadovyi reports.
The missiles didn't attack Lviv itself.
At 5:15 a.m., governor Maksym Kozytskyi again reported on air defense operations in the Lviv region.
The Air Force noted that enemy missiles were flying toward Stryi, a nationwide transportation point.
Aiming at Ukraine, Russian missiles crossed Polish airspace for 39 seconds, which was followed by raising jets.
On the night of March 24, a large-scale air alert was announced in Ukraine, as the Air Force reported the takeoff of 14 TU-95MS aircraft.
The missiles entered the country through Sumy and Chernihiv regions in the direction of Cherkasy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, and Rivne regions.
Over the capital and its region, air defense shot down about a dozen cruise missiles.
As a result of the missile attack, debris fell in two districts of Kyiv.
