Serhii Bolvinov, the head of the Investigation Department of the Police in the Kharkiv region, reported that the center of Vovchansk was shelled by Russians with Grad multiple rocket launchers — they targeted the place where volunteers were providing food to people.

Russian forces struck six times, and according to Bolvinov, they aimed at the gathering of people near a supermarket where free food was being distributed in the morning.

A senior investigator personally transported an elderly woman who suffered serious injuries to the hospital with his car, being one of the first to arrive at the scene.

At the site, people in the crowd were already trying to help the injured old woman. She was still conscious, and the police officer took her to his car. They headed to the hospital together with a female medic who happened to be nearby.

Unfortunately, they couldn't save the woman; the medic noticed the absence of a pulse during the journey.

Another woman received minor injuries, and she didn't require hospitalization. A man injured in the incident is currently in the hospital, receiving medical assistance.

According to Bolvinov, after the "Grad" shelling, the Russians opened fire with artillery and continued shooting at civilians.

Russians also carried out an air strike on the village of Hlushkivka. According to preliminary data, an elderly woman was injured.

As a result of the air strike, houses were damaged, and there was a gas leak from the affected buildings.

Investigative-operational groups, forensic experts, and explosive experts arrived at the scene.
