The BGV Charity Fund continues helping Ukrainian children's institutions update their computer equipment. In October 2023, the charity organization responded to institutions' official letters requesting new gadgets. In line with these appeals, the fund delivered modern tablets and laptops provided for free by the company Infopulse-Ukraine.
The BGV Charity Fund team donated gadgets to children's institutions in the Kharkiv and Zhytomyr region — "Inclusive Resource Center" in the city of Olevsk, which teaches children with developmental disabilities; kindergarten "Berizka" in the city of Horshchyk, and House of Children's and Youth Creativity in the town of Borova.
"The received laptops will improve the administrative processes of specialists and support corrective and developmental classes for children with special educational needs. Our specialists are now using an automated system for inclusive resource centers to form conclusion reports on a comprehensive psychological and pedagogical assessment of the child's development," Olena Buchynska, the director of the Olevsk Inclusive Resource Center, highlighted the significant improvements in the center's operations and activities brought about by the newly donated computers.
The director also noted the great importance of computer games not only in developing children's intelligence, memory, and attention but also in improving motor coordination, expanding vocabulary, recognizing colors and geometric shapes, forming sentences, spatial orientation, and more.
Moreover, new laptops enable specialists to work remotely and conduct child support team meetings with school teachers for each child. This opportunity not only saves time and money on travel to remote villages within the community but also allows for online consultations with parents and teachers on various issues.
We want to highlight that supporting institutions in Ukraine that cater to children is a key priority for the BGV Charity Fund.
