Military cooperation between Russia and North Korea threatens global peace and security — Blinken
The United States sees cooperation between Russia and North Korea as an increasingly dangerous two-way street.
This was stated by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Rubryka reports with reference to CNN.
Blinken noted that Russia has given up trying to find equipment, materials, and technology for the ongoing aggression against Ukraine. North Korea is looking for help to strengthen and advance its missile program.
"We're working hand-in-hand with other partners and allies to highlight the dangerous ways Russia and North Korea's military cooperation threaten global peace and security," he added.
It is noted that this topic was discussed at a forum at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, which brings together officials from the United States and the Republic of Korea.
As Rubryka previously reported, Kim Jong-un and Vladimir Putin met on September 13 at the Vostochny cosmodrome to discuss strengthening military cooperation. Kim also discussed this with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
