President Volodymyr Zelensky named two points, the implementation of which will help to completely stop hostilities. He demands that all Russian troops, including the Russian Black Sea Fleet, be withdrawn from the territory of Ukraine.

Rubryka reported this with reference to his speech at the UN Security Council.

"I would like to focus on territorial integrity. This is an element of both the UN Charter and our Peace Formula that is inextricably linked to the issue of clearing the territory from the occupiers. Occupation is an inexhaustible source of dynamite under the international rules-based order. So, I will provide examples of concrete steps to be taken for the security architecture to be strong. Using Ukraine as an example. Concrete things. Concrete as we, Ukrainians, are," Zelensky said.

According to him, only full implementation of the two points will be able to guarantee peace and security in Ukraine. Only the fulfillment of these points will contribute to a complete cessation of hostilities.

"First: full withdrawal of all Russian troops and military formations, including the Russian Black Sea Fleet or its leaky remnants," the president said. "In addition, Russia must withdraw all mercenaries and quasi-military formations from the entire sovereign territory of Ukraine within our internationally recognized 1991 borders. Second: full restoration of Ukraine's effective control over the entire state border and exclusive economic zone, including in the Black and Azov Seas, as well as in the Kerch Strait," Zelensky said.

According to the leader, only the fulfillment of these two points will result in an honest, reliable, and complete cessation of hostilities.

The leaders of the member states of the Security Council will be present at today's meeting of the UN Security Council. However, French President Emmanuel Macron (due to the planned visit of the British King Charles III) and Rishi Sunak (due to a busy schedule) will miss the meeting.

The UN Security Council and the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will not be present. Still, since Moscow cannot miss the opportunity to use the platform to spread its propaganda, the head of the Foreign Ministry, Sergei Lavrov, was sent to the meeting.

Visit of the President of Ukraine to the USA

The Ukrainian president's plane landed in New York on the evening of September 18. According to the program, Zelensky planned meetings with American politicians and businessmen, as well as a speech at the UN General Assembly. The visit will last from September 18 to 20.

First, Volodymyr Zelensky visited wounded Ukrainian defenders in a New York hospital.

On the same day, on the sidelines of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, Volodymyr Zelensky met with the President of the Republic of Kenya, William Ruto, and the President of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa.

Later, in New York, the general debate opened as part of the high-level week of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, where the Ukrainian leader took part.

On September 19, on the sidelines of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, held a meeting with the President of the European Council Charles Michel, the Secretary General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres and the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu.

As is known, the President of Ukraine will hold a meeting with Brazilian leader Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in New York on September 20, and a meeting with American leader Joe Biden in Washington is also planned.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking on September 20, said that the right of veto, which has driven the United Nations into a dead end due to being in the hands of Russia, needs to be reformatted. This will help restore the strength of the UN Charter.
