We know for certain: Russia is losing this war. The main thing is also what we will prove with our victory, what we prove with our cooperation, what you prove with your support for Ukraine. We prove that life matters, as well as people, freedom, Europe. This will be recorded in history thanks, in particular, to the fact that you stand with Ukraine, Zelensky said.

When the first Russian missiles struck Ukrainian cities on day one of the full-scale war, there was a "crazy risk" that Europe would lose itself, Zelensky said.

The President shared the stories of Ukrainian soldiers that Russian troops are less afraid of dying in battle than abandoning aggression and returning home.

It is hard to even imagine what Russia is as a state today, that its people are more afraid of their home than of dying in the war… We will never allow Ukraine or any other country to become the same territory of disrespect for people, and life as Russia.

Previously, Zelensky addressed the Danish parliament, thanking it for all assistance and assurance that Ukraine would withstand the fight against Russia with Danish support.

Following a meeting with Zelensky, Danish PM Mette Frederiksen said that Denmark would give Ukraine 19 F-16s.

Ukrainian leader arrived in Sweden to discuss joint CV-90 armored vehicle production with Swedish Prime Minister.

During his visit, several agreements were announced on weapons, including the production of equipment in Ukraine, and on the start of testing of Gripen fighter jets by Ukrainian pilots.

Afterwards, Zelensky arrived in the Netherlands two days after the country said the US had given its approval for Dutch and Danish authorities to deliver F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine's air force.

The issue of providing Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets was previously brought up at a Ramstein defense-related summit in June.

After the meeting, Ukraine's partners pledged to approve a training program for the pilots, engineers, and technicians on F-16 fighter jets, with the training taking place in a specially created center in a European country.

The prime ministers of the Netherlands and Great Britain, Mark Rutte and Rishi Sunak, agreed to work on forming an international coalition of fighter jets for Ukraine. Denmark announced it had joined the coalition too.
